Summer may almost be over and there are a few not-to-miss Hamptons and East End benefits before it concludes in late  September. Check out the fundraisers listed below which celebrate art and culture and support The Hamptons community!

September 2 (Wednesday)

“East End Hospice 15th Annual Box Art Auction Preview Reception” takes place on September 2, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Hoie Hall at St. Luke’s in East Hampton, NY. The boxes are available to preview there on Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. each day. They can also be viewed online at www.eeh.org. September 3 (Thursday)

“The Southampton Arts Center SummerFest” takes place on September 3, 2015 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Southampton Arts Center in Southampton, NY. SummerFest will feature a wide selection of food and wine from a host of restaurants and chefs across the East End, as well as provide entertainment from Southampton Arts Center programming partners. September 5 (Saturday)

“Surf Craft Party and Auction” takes place on September 5, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton, NY. LongHouse’s Junior Council presents an art surfboard auction to celebrate LongHouse’s current exhibition, “Surf Craft: Design and the Culture of Board Riding.” The show is curated by Richard Kenvin and organized by Mingei Museum (San Diego). Enjoy cocktails, a luau menu and live music at the Surf Craft Party and Auction Conclusion. All proceeds from the party and auction benefit LongHouse’s public programs.

September 12 (Saturday)

“The 375th Anniversary and Late Summer Cocktail Party benefiting the Southampton Historical Museum” takes place on September 12, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the lawn of the Rogers Mansion in Southampton, NY. The benefit includes hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in celebration of Southampton’s 375th Anniversary and the end of summer. The event benefits the museum’s education programs. Tickets are $60 for members and $75 for nonmembers. To purchase, visit www.southamptonhistoricalmuseum.org.

“East End Hospice 15th Annual Box Art Auction” takes place on September 12 at The Ross School, Lower Campus Field House in Bridgehampton, NY. A Silent Auction and Reception will take place at 4:30 p.m. and the Live Auction will start at 6 p.m. The Box Art Auction benefits East End Hospice. Tickets start at $75 per person. September 19 (Saturday)

“Back to the Bays Benefit” takes place on September 19, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) in Bridgehampton, NY. Proceeds from the benefit will support the Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program’s Back to the Bay Initiative and Marine Science Summer Programming at SoFo.

Enjoy an evening of celebrating local marine life while giving back to the bays. The benefit will feature music from Alfredo Merat, sustainably sourced culinary offerings, a raw bar, craft beer and local wine.
