There are plenty of art and cultural events taking place in the Hamptons and East End this weekend. ILLE ARTS - “Oceans Eleven” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through September 1. BRIDGEHAMPTON

BRIDGEHAMPTON CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL at CHANNING SCULPTURE GARDEN - "Roger Waters in A Soldier's Taletakes place on Friday at 6:45 p.m. Roger Waters narrates Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale. Wine and appetizers will be served at 6 p.m. Tickets are $150 for Reserved Seating, $100 for General Admission. HARPER’S BOOKS - “Solo Show by Anke Weyer” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through September 23. The show includes large scale oil and acrylic paintings as well as a series of smaller works on paper, consisting of found and painted coupon sheets. HERRICK PARK - “Artists & Writers Charity Softball Game” takes place on Saturday. Batting Practice starts at noon followed by the game at 2 p.m. The rain date is August 23. The suggested donation is $10. Kids under 12 are free. Proceeds benefit the Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center, East End Hospice, the Phoenic House Academy of Long Island and The Retreat. LAWRENCE FINE ART - "Anna Walinska: Abstractions from the 50s and 60s" has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. Walinska's work pans American modernism, and parallels the New York and Jewish American experience. SPRINGS IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY at ASHAWAGH HALL - “48th Annual Artists of the Springs Invitational” has an Curator’s Tour on Saturday from 4 to 5 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through August 16. This year’s exhibit is curated by gallerist Andrea McCafferty, one of the owners and the director of The White Room Gallery in Bridgehampton. MONTAUK LIBRARY - “The Aviva Players’ Tenth Anniversary Concert” takes place on Sunday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The concert was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 11. The group includes Mira J. Spektor (Composer & Founding Director), Mimi Stern-Wolfe (Musical Director, Pianist), Hillary Schranze (Soprano), Mary Wooten (Cellist) and Lynn Bechtold (Violinist). The performance is free. MONIKA OLKO GALLERY - “Midsummer Night’s Dream” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. The group show features works filled with colors, textures and artistry evoking warm summer nights. SHELTER ISLAND

ARTISTS OF SHELTER ISLAND (ARTSI) - "Sixth Annual Open Studio Event" takes place on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. each day. The tour features 15 artists presenting contemporary painting, photography, ceramics, textile designs, mixed media works, drawing and more. SOUTHAMPTON ARTS CENTER - "Outdoor Screening: Jurassic Parktakes place on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.

"¡Cuba, Cuba!" has an Opening Party on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. The exhibition is on view today through Sunday. The show includes more than 100 color and black-and-white photographs from the 1950s to the present by over 30 Cuban photographers.

"Jazz at Lincoln Center" Performance takes place on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the opening of ¡Cuba, Cuba!. The concert on the lawn is free.

SOUTHAMPTON HISTORICAL MUSEUM at PYRRHUS CONCER MONUMENT - “From Slavery to Freedom: Four Centuries of African American History on Long Island” takes place on Sunday at 11:30 p.m. Joseph McGill, founder of the Slave Dwelling Project, will travel across Long Island to overnight at three different historic sites. On Sunday Southampton Village will host the unveiling of a historic marker and street dedication in front of the site of the former Pyrrhus Concer Homestead. Mr. McGill will discuss his overnight stay inside the Halsey House. Admission is free. SOUTHAMPTON HISTORICAL MUSEUM at ROGERS MANSION MUSEUM COMPLEX - "William Merritt Chase & the Founding of the Art Village" Lecture takes place this evening from 5 to 7 p.m.  A reception for the speakers follows the lecture in the garden. RSVP is required. Tickets are $95 for members and $120 for non-members. LTV STUDIOS - “The First Pitch Cocktail Party and Live & Silent Auction” takes place on Friday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The Party kicks off the 67th Annual Artists & Writers Charity Softball Game on Saturday. PARRISH ART MUSEUM - “The Curator’s View: Andreas Gursky: Landscapes” takes place on Saturday at 11 a.m. Terrie Sultan, Parrish Director and organizer of Andreas Gursky: Landscapes, will give a Gallery Talk with photographer and guest speaker Ralph Gibson. Admission is $10, free for members, children and students. The exhibition is on view through October 18.

"Atlantic Vibrations Surf Movie Night Vol. 3" Outdoor Screening takes place on Friday at 7 p.m. The screening of short surf films by New York State filmmakers were selected by photographer Michael Halsband and Chris Gentile. Admission is $10, free for members, children and students. Reservations suggested.

“Guided Tour of the Permanent Collection” takes place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The docent-led tour features highlights from the seven permanent collection galleries. Free with museum admission. Reservations suggested.

PARRISH ART MUSEUM - "Parrish Road Show, Tucker Marder: Stampede" has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1058 Deerfield Road, Water Mill, NY 11976. Tucker Marder's performance and installation features an inter-species dance with over 200 Crested Indian Runner ducks that will interact with geometric, large-scale puppets. The installation is part of the Parrish Art Museum's off-site exhibition program. www.parrishart.org.

SARA NIGHTINGALE GALLERY - “True Confections” by Monica Banks and Christa Maiwald has an Artists’ talk on Sunday at 11 a.m. The exhibition remains on view through September 3. The multi-media show features sculpture, installation, photography, embroidery, performance and edible sweet sculpture. WESTHAMPTON BEACH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - “August World Cinema Series: Jimmy’s Hall screens from Tuesday through Thursday at 8 p.m. Andrew Botsford will introduce films each Tuesday night and discuss the film afterwards with guest commentators.
