OLIVE REICH
I work in watercolor. I love the challenge of this medium. There is a spontaneity to it, colors that run and take on their own shapes and directions. I work with bright colors and everyday scenes, and like to bring a new vision, clarity and beauty to an old subject.
.
.
My summer studio on Shelter Island has been created out of part of my garage with added skylights, pegboard for walls, tile flooring and sliding glass doors. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Solo shows of my art have been presented at the National Arts Club, Brown Mayer & Pratt and Ward Nasse Gallery (New York); the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Nahas Gallery (Brooklyn); UBS Financial Gallery and Southampton Inn (Southampton); Shelter Island Library and Shelter Island Town Hall; Present Day Club (Princeton, NJ); Clayton/Liberatore Gallery (Bridgehampton) and other locations.
My work is held in the collections of Mt. Holyoke College Art Museum (S. Hadley, MA); Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Health & Hospital Corp. (New York); The Nature Conservancy of New York; Home Federal Savings Bank; Brooklyn Union Gas Company; J.C. Penney Corp. (Dallas); Lutheran Medical Center (Brooklyn); Gyro Credit Corp. (New York); Fox River Paper Company (Appleton, WI) and in private collections.

PETER WALDNER
In the twenty-two years that Peter Waldner has been editorial cartoonist for several Long Island newspapers, he has won fifteen awards from The New York Press Association, including first place the last three years. (Suffolk Times and Sag Harbor Express).
.
.
Peter was nationally syndicated for twelve years with Creators Syndicate. His fine artwork has been in many galleries and exhibitions and is in numerous private collections. Waldner works in oils, acrylics, pastels and colored pecils as well as three dimensional mixed media pieces.
His work has been exhibited at The Water Mill Museum, East End Arts (Riverhead); South Street Gallery (Greenport); Mosquito Hawk Gallery, Boltax Gallery and Wish Rock Studio (Shelter Island), Elmira College; Ashawagh Hall and Gallery East (East Hampton) and more.

MIKE ZISSER
Mike paints mainly in acrylics and, occasionally, watercolors. His later paintings are virtually all non-representational, reflecting his interest in abstract design elements, as well as geometric shapes that are visually "complicated" by various pairings of colors.
.
.
One of Mike's major interests is the role colors play in the dynamics of composition and their effect on the visual perceptions of the observer, particularly as evidenced in the work of the color theorist Josef Albers and his seminal work "Theories of the Interaction of Color."
Mike attended the Art Students League in New York, and worked with many of the influential teachers of the League--including Charles Hinman and Terence Coyle. He subsequently founded a design and marketing company, which he headed for 30 years.
His work has been in numerous curated exhibitions, including the Parrish Art Museum, the Art Students League, Salmagundi Club, Guild Hall, Mills Pond House, Gallery East, Millennial Gallery, and nationally at many juried shows.
He currently devotes himself full-time to his painting.
