Winterfest continues for its second weekend presenting live concerts in vineyards and venues on the North Fork and Riverhead. This weekend brings exhibition openings on the North and South Forks. ASHAWAGH HALL - "Solo Show by Marietta Gavaris" has an Opening Reception on Saturday at 5 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through March 1. The reception will feature live jazz by Peter Martin Weiss and John Ludlow. CLINTON ACADEMY MUSEUM - "Stagestruck: 'We've Gotta Barn, Let's Put On a Show!'" Lecture takes place on Friday at 7 p.m. Village Historian Hugh King and Barbara Borsack will discuss the history of amateur theatrics during the late-19th and early-20th century. The Clinton Academy Museum is located at 151 Main Street, East Hampton, NY 11937. www.easthamptonhistory.org.

SYLVESTER MANOR at the SHELTER ISLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY - “The Blues: Feel Like Going Home” screens on Friday at 7 p.m. The 2003 documentary film by director Martin Scorsese pays tribute to the Delta Blues by examining its rise out of the work and field songs of American plantation culture and the drumming traditions of West Africa. A talk with cultural historians, African drummers, and alumni Sylvester Manor Worksongers will follow the screening. The event is free. WATER MILL

PARRISH ART MUSEUM - “Ralph Gibson: Photographer/Book Artist Film” screens on Friday at 6 p.m. The film documents the life and creative process of American photographer Ralph Gibson. The documentary will be introduced by Checkerboard founder/producer Edgar B. Howard and followed by a Q & A led by Parrish Director Terrie Sultan. The film is part of the Checkerboard Film Foundation series at the Parrish.  Admission is $10, free for members, children, and students. Reservations are recommended.
