The visual art scene in the Hamptons gets a burst of energy this weekend with three new exhibitions holding art receptions. Look to Bridgehampton and East Hampton to find two group shows and a new photography exhibition at Vered Gallery. On the performing arts front, Watermill Center offers a Master Class workshop with Polish national Bogdan Renczyński. On the cultural scene, look for live music and film screenings to round out your arts weekend in the Hamptons.

POP UP at KATHRYN MARKEL FINE ARTS - “#working” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The group show features artists based in New York, L.A, and London. Curated by artist Maeve D'Arcy, the exhibition explores what it means to be a contemporary working artist. “Haim Miszrahi - Hope in the Shield of David” has a Valentines Closing Party on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The exhibition features dimensional Abstract Expressionist paintings created by weaving acrylics and encaustic.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - “A Film About Coffee” screens on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The film examines how coffee comes to be defined as “specialty” through techniques and traditions around the world.
