The visual art scene in the Hamptons gets a burst of energy this weekend with three new exhibitions holding art receptions. Look to Bridgehampton and East Hampton to find two group shows and a new photography exhibition at Vered Gallery. On the performing arts front, Watermill Center offers a Master Class workshop with Polish national Bogdan Renczyński. On the cultural scene, look for live music and film screenings to round out your arts weekend in the Hamptons.
POP UP at KATHRYN MARKEL FINE ARTS - “#working” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The group show features artists based in New York, L.A, and London. Curated by artist Maeve D'Arcy, the exhibition explores what it means to be a contemporary working artist. GUILD HALL - "The Met: Live in HD - Tchaikovsky's IOLANTA/Bartok's BLUEBEARD" takes place on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Both operas are directed by Mariusz Trelinski and conducted by Valery Gergiev. VERED GALLERY - “Bert Stern - Marilyn in the Hamptons” has a Valentines Opening Party on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The exhibition features 1962 photographs of Marilyn Monroe.

“Haim Miszrahi - Hope in the Shield of David” has a Valentines Closing Party on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The exhibition features dimensional Abstract Expressionist paintings created by weaving acrylics and encaustic.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - “A Film About Coffee” screens on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The film examines how coffee comes to be defined as “specialty” through techniques and traditions around the world. A Q&A session with local coffee industry professionals follows the screening. The film is presented in partnership with Hamptons Coffee Company. Tickets are $15, $9 and $5. SOUTHAMPTON HISTORICAL MUSEUM at the ROGERS MEMORIAL LIBRARY - "The Manors of Long Island" film screening takes place on Thursday, February 19 at 3 p.m. The event is part of a Lecture Series celebrating Southampton's 375th Anniversary.
