Art Basel in Miami Beach opens its 13th edition to the public today presenting a strong line-up of exhibitor and programs, attracting collectors, art professionals and art lovers from across the globe to the Miami Beach Convention Center. The fair continues through Sunday with programming spilling into spots across Miami Beach.

The art fair is presenting 267 leading international galleries based in 31 countries across North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Around 50 percent of the galleries hail from the Americas. New this year is Survey, a new sector dedicated to precise art-historical projects. Survey joins Art Basel's other project-based sectors (Nova, Kabinett, Edition, Public, Survey and Film) that are intermingled within the art fair or held at satellite locations. and Salon programs.
