Group shows seem to be the rage this weekend with several peeling back a wide cross-section of art being made on the East End. Live music, film screenings and a self-guided gallery walk on Saturday from Southampton to Montauk are among the weekend art options. Following is the list of ways to have an art-filled weekend in the Hamptons and on the North Fork.

ALEX FERRONE PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY - “Small Works 2014 - The Botanical Exhibit” has an Artists’ Reception on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through February 15, 2015. All framed works on view are sized 14 inches or smaller. Throughout the exhibition the gallery will be collecting new personal care products for families in need through CAST Southold Town. Tour guides in period costume will direct visitors from building to building with the help of candle and lantern lit paths. Each period building on the grounds is decorated in a different style.
