It's a quiet one for art events on the East End. Still, action takes place on the North and South Forks with film screenings, artist talks and a dance performance that enliven Alan Shields's art on this week's list. EAST HAMPTON/SPRINGS 

GUILD HALL - “John Drew Theater Lab: Paul Alexander Sings Songs of Life and Love” takes place on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The performance is free. JAMESPORT

ROSALIE DIMON GALLERY at the JAMESPORT MANOR INN - “New Art Show Featuring Artists Ine Wijtvliet & Natalia Clark” has an Artists’ Reception on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through February 4. Wijtvliet will present abstract paintings and Clarke will present classical paintings. Both artists are East End Arts Members. MONTAUK

WATER MILL

PARRISH ART MUSEUM - "INTO THE MAZE" - a dance performance curated to engage with Alan Shields's Maze takes place on Friday and Saturday. Choreographed by Stephen Petronio, "Into The Maze" is performed by the Stephen Petonio Company and organized by Jill Brienza, curator of "Alan Shields: In Motion" currently on view through January 19, 2015. "Into The Maze" will be performed on Friday at 6 p.m. (Sold Out) and on Saturday at 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. The performance is 20 minutes and reservations are encouraged. Free for museum members or $10 for non-members. Includes admission to the museum. WESTHAMPTON BEACH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - “WHBPAC’s Finest in World Cinema Series” presents Tracks on Saturday at 4 and 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 4 p.m. The “Finest in World Cinema” series screens current art house, foreign, independent and documentary films and continues through November. THE CUDDY RESTAURANT - “Artists’ Dinner” takes place on Thursday, November 13 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be writer and writing coach Debra Scott. From 5:30 to 6 p.m. there will be a cash bar and meet and greet, followed by a three course dinner at 6 p.m. The guest speaker will give a presentation at 7 p.m. The Prix Fixe Dinner is $26 plus tax and tip.
