GUILD HALL - “Round Table Theatre Company Benefit” takes place on Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. in Guild Hall’s Green Room. The fundraiser includes food, wine, live entertainment and a silent auction. Admission is $20 or a $20 bottle of wine presented at the door. Proceeds benefit the Round Table Theatre Company’s November production of Hamlet. POLLOCK-KRASNER HOUSE AND STUDY CENTER – “Artists on Film: Discovery” begins Friday at 7 p.m. and features "Video Portraits from the Eyes on Main Street project with artist Andrea Cote. A discussion led by Marion Wolberg Weiss follows the screening. The film series continues through September with a screening every Friday. VERED GALLERY - Gallery Talk for "Modernist Color: The First 90 Yeras" takes place on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Led by gallerist Janet Lehr. Exhibition highlights include paintings by John Singer Sargent, Arthur B. Carles, Russell Morgan, John Sloan, Arthur Dove, Milton Avery, Arshile Gorky, Larry Rivers and Helen Frankenthaler. GALLERY CROSSING - “Fine Art of the East End by Scott Hewett and Anna Franklin” opens today and has an Artist Reception on Saturday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The show remains on view through September 22. Hewett is a “Pop-Realism” painter who focuses on Americana-themed subjects and scenes of the East End. Franklin works in a variety of painting styles from abstract to representational.
