It's Labor Day Weekend so get set for a wild ride. Highlights from the East End art scene include the opening of the Parrish Art Museum's offsite installation project, the first benefit for the Southampton Center and two different types of portrait shows. PECONIC LANDING at BRECKNOCK HALL - “End of Summer Celebration” takes place on Sunday at 7 p.m. The event includes a performance by the Atlantic Wind Symphony followed by a fireworks display. Brecknock Hall is located at  1 Brecknock Road, Greenport, NY 11944. www.peconiclanding.com

PECONIC GREEN GROWTH - “Art for Green’s Sake!!!” takes place on Saturday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Poquatuck Hall in Orient, NY. Tickets are $15 and $20 and are available at the door. GALLERY CROSSING - “Fine art of the East End by Joanne Rosko and Jon Schusteritsch” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through September 8. Rosko works in a variety of styles, but is focused lately on painting in plein air. Schusteritsch is a photographer who captures the interactions of natural light as well as the scenery of the North Fork. PARRISH ART MUSEUM at HALLOCKVILLE MUSEUM FARM - “Parrish Road Show: Michael Combs” has an Opening Reception this evening (Thursday) from 6 to 8 p.m. Combs will be showing his installation, Outhouse 2014.
