Art by Robert Motherwell, cocktails and a Hamptons estate drew a crowd of around 380 to Guild Hall's Summer Gala on August 8, 2014. The Summer Gala began with a white wine reception and an exclusive preview of "Robert Motherwell: The East Hampton Years, 1944 -1952" at the East Hampton museum. Festivities continued at the Fairchild estate in Bridgehampton with guests enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres beneath a white tent set on a sprawling green lawn. Dinner guests then retired for a full evening of dancing, a live art auction and desserts. Guild Hall's 2014 Summer Gala honored Dr. Bruce Horten for his philanthropic endeavors.
