KARMA - "Zonder" by Matt Connors opens Karma's summer Hamptons season on Saturday with an Opening Reception from 6 to 8 p.m.  KARMA is located at 249 Main St, Amagansett NY 11930.


BRIDGEHAMPTON MUSEUM - "Bridgehampton Past and Present" has a Reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through Sep. 18. Participating artists include Casey Chalem Anderson, Susan D'Alessio, Aubrey Grainger, Anita Kusick, Keith Mantell, Michele Margin, Gordon Matheson, Joanne Rosko, Tom Steele, and Kathryn Szoka. The Bridgehampton Museum is located at 2539A Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, NY 11932.


ALEX FERRONE PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY - “Swells & Swirls” by Matt Clark and Mike DiRenzo has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through July 20. Clark and DiRenzo will show photographs of international and national waters as well as stone formations and dunes of the American West. ASHAWAGH HALL - “Mostly Abstract II” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. The exhibition is on view on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Artists on view include Barbara Bilotta, Beth Barry, Anahi DeCanio, Katherine Hammond, Jana Hayden, Jim Hayden, Bo Parsons, Sheila Rotner, Cynthia Sobel, Lieve Thiers, and Mark Zimmerman.The exhibition was curated by Cynthia Sobel. EAST HAMPTON SHED - "Solo Project by Jean-Baptiste Bernadet" has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at 30 Blue Jay Way, East Hampton, NY 11937.

POLLOCK-KRASNER HOUSE AND STUDY CENTER - “Unmasking the Muse: Inspiration in the Arts” Panel takes place on Saturday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The discussion will be moderated by film historian and art critic Marion Wolberg Weiss and will center around the topic of artistic inspiration. The panel will include performance artist, composer, and musician Laurie Anderson, artist Andrea Cote, and producer, director, camera operator, and film/video editor Maria Maciak. SOUTHOLD HISTORICAL SOCIETY and PECONIC LANDING – Film Screening of “Ilya and Emilia Kabakov: Enter Here” takes place on Friday at 7:30 p.m. After the screening, there will be a Q&A with director Amei Wallach.

The film concerns artist Ilya Kabakov’s struggle to install 6 installations throughout Moscow, where he was forbidden to show his work. Both Ilya and his wife Emilia live on the North Fork. Peconic Landing is located at 1500 Brecknock Road, Greenport, NY 11944.,


THE MONTAUK LIBRARY - “Spring Concert Series 2014: Misuzu Tanaka, classical pianist” takes place on Saturday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The concert is free. The Montauk Library is located at 871 Montauk Highway, Montauk, NY 11954.

THE FIREPLACE PROJECT at the SURF LODGE - “EXSanguiNatio_n” by Michael Bevilacqua has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through July 13. Bevilacqua works in spray paint, working to bring the medium beyond the world of graffiti and into that of fine art. The Surf Lodge is located at 183 Edgemere Street, Montauk, NY 11954.


THE MADOO CONSERVANCY - “Much Ado About Madoo” takes place from Friday through Sunday. The Garden Cocktail Party and Garden Market Preview Sale takes place on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets start at $125. Includes an exhibition of Robert Dash’s artwork chosen by Robert Storr. There will also be a live auction including custom designed gardens and a silent auction of birdhouses and garden and home accessories along with various garden presentations and a birdhouse competition. RSVP is appreciated but tickets are available at the door.

TEE & CHARLES ADAMS FOUNDATION - “Conscience Point Shellfish Hatchery Fundraiser” takes place on Friday from 5:13 to 8:13 p.m. The event includes live music, local wines, and seafood. WOLFFER ESTATE VINEYARD - An Evening of Wine and Poetry on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Hosted by Tyler Armstrong. Featured readers include Suffolk County Poet Laureate Ed Stever, Amy Cammel, Tom Olezczsuk, Molly Weiss, Malik Solomon, Emma Macwhinnie and Tyler Armstrong. CANIOʼS BOOKS - “Poet-Activist Alexis De Veaux” will speak on Saturday at 5 p.m. De Veaux’s most recent work is Yabo. ROMANY KRAMORIS GALLERY - “Open Paths” by Christopher Engel has a Reception on Saturday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through June 26. Engel will show abstract work inspired by the light and wind on the water of Long Pond in Sag Harbor. Woodcuts of old New York by Ted Davies will also be on view throughout the summer. SAYRE BARN at ROGERS MANSION - “Deconstructing the Sayre Barn” by Ulf Skogsbergh has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through Oct. 10. The exhibition includes large photographs of the deconstruction of the Sayre Barn prior to it’s reconstruction. Saturday also marks the grand re-opening of the Sayre Barn. WATERMILL CENTER - "OPEN STUDIO - Works by Mohammed Kazem and Maya Chami" will be held on Saturday form 1 to 4 p.m. Kazem created around 70 works on paper by scratching shapes to render sound visible using objects from the Watermill Center Collection. Chami presents three looping audio-visual works: Of Men, Champagne and Victory Aside (2012), Transitional digital objects (2011) and a new work, Jasmine - Tree: Copy Cat, inspired by The Watermill Center cat. The Watermill Center is located at 39 Watermill Towd Road, Water Mill, NY
