"Spring Exhibition" is the first of three exhibitions to be held across the Hamptons this season. Additional exhibitions include "Summer Photography Exhibition" at the Remsenburg Academy (June 28 - July 13) and "Summer Celebration" at the Water Mill Museum (July 16 to August 11). The Remsenburg Academy exhibition will have its Opening Reception on June 28 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The Water Mill Museum exhibition will have its Reception on July 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. For details, visit www.eastendphotogroup.org.

One of the traditions held by the East End Photographers Group is the creation of a graphic photography image for its exhibition card. The "Spring Exhibition" postcard was created by members Nick Tarr and Gerry Giliberti.

The poster is a homage to the posters of the sixties, specifically referencing The Grateful Dead, the Kelly Mouse Studio and the "whole free wheelin' era," according to Tarr.

  1. Hey Pat,
Thank you for your very professional promo of our little ol’ EEPG exhibition
and thanks for your mention re the card / poster. It was my basic idea but a
Tarr & Gerry collaboration all the way.
The opening turned out to be a lot of fun and well attended. This is a strong show for
    this group.
    Thanks for your help.
