New art shows, live music and author readings continue to keep the East End hopping with art and culture. Here is this week's list of where to get your art fix:

EAST END – “WINTERFEST: LIVE ON THE VINE” continues its series of live music this weekend. The music festival features over 100 concerts held at multiple venues across the North Fork and Riverhead. The festival is extended through March 16.

The majority of concerts are held at wineries on the North Fork. Admission is $20 per concert or by a “Festival Hopper” passes. Festival Day Pass is $30, a Weekend Pass is $50 and a Festival Pass is $200. Music includes blues, soul, rock and country. For programming and details, visit www.liwinterfest.com.


TONIC ARTSPACE POP-UP GALLERY at KATHRYN MARKEL FINE ART- “Phenomena” has another Opening Reception on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. Exhibiting artists include Arrex, Maeve D’Arcy, Carly Haffner, Christine Lidrbauch, Scott Gibbons, and Grant Haffner. ALEX FERRONE PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY - “Music in Images” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through March 21. It was curated by Esperanza Leon. The Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery is located at 2545 Main Road, Cutchogue, NY. www.alexferrone.com.

HAMPTON PHOTO, ARTS AND FRAMING at ASHAWAGH HALL - “HPA/OVEREXPOSED” has an Opening Reception on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features the work of over 50 photographers. Ashawagh Hall is located at 780 Springs Fireplace Rd, Springs, NY 11937. www.ashawagh-hall.org.


EAST END ARTS at ROSALIE DIMON GALLERY - “Photographs by Anthony Lombardo and Paintings by Toby Haynes” has an Opening Reception on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through April 30. QUOGUE LIBRARY GALLERY – "Embraces and Landscape Selections by Gina Gilmour" has an Artist’s Reception on Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through March 30. The gallery at the Quogue Library is located at 90 Quogue Street, Quogue, NY 11959.  www.quoguelibrary.org.

ART SITES GALLERY- “FORM COLOR LIGHT” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through April 13. Ken Nadle will exhibit photography, Bennet Sykes Blackburn will exhibit sculpture, and Alphonse Van Woerkom will exhibit paintings. EAST END ARTS at RIVERHEAD TOWN HALL GALLERY - “Laura Stroh” opens on Tuesday and remains on view through June 4. On view are expressive landscape paintings. Riverhead Town Hall Gallery is located at 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, NY 11901. www.eastendarts.org.


STONY BROOK SOUTHAMPTON – WRITERS SPEAK WEDNESDAYS – “A Reading by Susan Wheeler” at 7 p.m. A reception precedes the reading at 6:30 p.m. The Reading is held in the Radio Lounge in Chancellors Hall. Free. The college is located at 239 Montauk Hwy, Southampton, NY 11968. www.stonybrook.edu.

Wheeler is the author of the novel Record Palace and six books of poetry including Meme, which was shortlisted for the National Book Award. Wheeler is the director of Princeton’s creative writing program. She is the recipient of a Guggeheim and the Witter Brynner Prize for Poetry from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
