ALMOND restaurant - Artist and Writers Dinner will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. "A Night of Stories" features writer and art critics Gabrielle Seltz and Erica-Lynn Huberty with author Steven Gaines. $40 in advance or $45 at the door. BRECKNOCK HALL - Workshop and Networking Event: "Creativity in the Workplace" will be held on Thursday, April 18, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Free. Facilitated by East End Arts Education Director Steve Watson and creative arts therapist, writer, and performer Jude Treder-Wolff. QUOGUE LIBRARY – Poetry Reading by exhibiting artist Rosalind Brenner takes place on Saturday at 3 p.m. Reservations are requested by calling 631-653-4224 ext. 4. Brenner's solo show "THE POETRY OF ART and THE ART OF POETRY" continues on view April 28. SARA NIGHTINGALE GALLERY - #blinddates/musiclab, a new improvisation music series, launches at the gallery on Thursday, April 18. The music will be live from 6 to 8 p.m. The inaguarual concert features artist and musician Dalton Portella on guitar and Ryan Messina. WATERMILL CENTER - “Dictaphone Group (Lebanon): Nothing to Declare” takes place on Friday, April 19, at 8 p.m. The artists-in-residence Dictaphone Group will perform a performance lecture dealing with the borders between Lebanon and neighboring Arab nations.
