Themed exhibitions for Halloween, an open studio tour with voting privileges and four new exhibitions at Guild Hall Museum are among this week's choices for new art openings in the Hamptons and the North Fork.

ILLE ARTS - "Open Studio Tour" on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Meet at the gallery between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. to meet the artists over coffee and bagels. The studio tour begins afterwards. Visitors who visit five studios or more get to vote for their favorite two. The three top vote getters will have their work featured in an exhibition held in December.

NEOTERIC FINE ART - “Incognito: The Art of Disguise” has an opening reception and costume party on Friday (Oct 29) from 5 p.m. to midnight. Featured artists include Scott Bluedorn, Andrea Cote, Margaret Farmer, Sunny Khalsa, Lutha Leahy-Miller, Christine Lidrbauch, Christian Little, Diana Lives, Charles Ly, Annysa Ng, Maria Pessino, and Kate Petrone. The party includes music by J’til and Blind Prophet. The show runs through Nov 24. The gallery is located at 208 Main Street, Amagansett, NY. www.neotericfineart.com
EAST HAMPTON/SPRINGS
ASHAWAGH HALL - “SHADOW” has an opening reception on Saturday (Oct 27) from 5 to 7 p.m. The show deals with the concept of "shadow." Art includes painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.” The show is curated by Ellen Dooley. "Shadow" is on view Oct 27 and 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ashawagh Hall is located at 780 Springs Fireplace Rd, Springs, NY. www.ashawagh-hall.org

GUILD HALL MUSEUM has four exhibitions opening on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. They are: "Fritz Leddy, Part II” in the Moran Gallery; "Frank Wimberley: Winner of the 2010 Annual Guild Hall Artist Member Exhibition" in the Spiga Gallery; "John Berg" exhibitions around 95 album covers he helped create as Art Director for Columbia Records in the Wasserstein Gallery and "Abstraction: Selections from the Guild Hall Museum Permanent Collection" featuring first generation abstract expressionism artists including Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Willem de Kooning, Ibram Lassaw and more.
All four exhibitions remain on view through January 6, 2013. The museum is located at 158 Main St, East Hampton, NY. www.guildhall.org. RICHARD J. DEMATO FINE ART - “Hamptons Juried Art Show” has an opening reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. Best in Show will be announced at the opening. The show is a fundraiser for The Retreat, a non-profit organization assisting victims of domestic violence on Long Island. The show is curated by Christina Strassfield, Museum Director and Chief Curator of Guild Hall, and gallerist Kathryn Markel of Kathryn Markel Fine Art. The show runs through Nov 8.
