Katherine Liepe-Levinson’s new photography from her "Earth/Water Series" can be seen at several different venues on the East End this summer. She continues to explore the flora and fauna of East End waterways, ponds, bays, and beaches as a testament to the preciousness of our natural resources. Her almost abstract photography series encourages viewers to look a little longer and ponder the wonders of nature all around us, which we too often take for granted.

Katherine is a featured artist in the White Room Gallery’s show, “More than Meets the Eye,” curated by Andrea McCafferty and Kat O’Neill. Her works for this show are printed on acrylic glass and cut into circles. Some of the pieces are free standing. Others can hang in windows or on walls. The depth and movement offered by the acrylic glass and the circle design, amplify both her significant Earth/Water theme and the abstract quality of the photographs.

Opening Reception: Saturday June 24, 6-8pm. On view June 22-July 9, 2017. Gallery Hours Wednesday-Sunday Noon-6 pm. The gallery is located at 2415 Main St, Bridgehampton, NY 11932. www.thewhiteroom.gallery.
