Black Friday is upon us and shopping is on many people's minds. Never fear--creative gifts and objects made by hand can easily be part of holiday shopping. On the East End, authors, artists, artisans and creative gift vendors are pulling out the stops in time for the first rush of holiday shopping. Holiday markets and special events are popping up in The Hamptons and East End starting today. Expect to find a merry atmosphere and holiday cheer accompanying the shopping experience along with art and artisan gifts and items for fans of design. All of the following markets and special gift events appear for the holidays and disappear just as quickly. My advice? Catch them while you can.
