Hamptons Art Hub is issuing a Call for Art with the theme "From the Earth." Artwork Submissions are open for Fine Art and Fine Art Photography.

The competition is juried by Christine Berry of Berry Campbell gallery in New York City.

Submissions are now accepted online through November 6, 2016.

Artists can be based anywhere in the world. The Call for Art is NOT restricted to artists working in The Hamptons.

Christine Berry opened Berry Campbell Gallery with Martha Campbell in 2013. The 2,000 square foot gallery is located at 530 West 24th Street on the ground floor in the heart of Chelsea in New York City. Berry Campbell features Post-War Modern and Contemporary art with a focus on established and mid-career contemporary artists. The gallery represents: Edward Avedisian, Walter Darby Bannard, Dan Christensen, Eric Dever, Perle Fine, Balcomb Greene, Gertrude Greene, Judith Godwin, Ken Greenleaf, Raymond Hendler, Jill Nathanson, William Perehudoff, Ann Purcell, Jon Schueler, Mike Solomon, Syd Solomon, Albert Stadler, Susan Vecsey, James Walsh and Larry Zox.

Berry Campbell participates in numerous art fairs including Art Miami and has been positively reviewed in Artcritical, Artforum, Hamptons Art Hub, Hyperallergic, The New York Observer and the Wall Street Journal. Christine Berry recently participated on a panel for the American Abstract Artists’ Group, was quoted in Bloomberg News on the art market, was a guest lecturer for the Sotheby’s Art Institute and co-curated the Center for Maine Contemporary Art’s 2016 Biennial with John Yau. Christine Berry continues to place art in the world’s foremost public and private collections.

A submission fee of $35 applies and is payable online with a credit card by clicking here. Winners of the "From the Earth" art competition will be announced the week of November 21, 2016. The online exhibition will open the same week.

The "From the Earth" Call for Art Competition follows the Spring 2016 Competition "Inspired by Water." BASIC FACTS: Submissions are now being accepted through November 6, 2016 for Hamptons Art Hub's Fall Call for Art Competition. Submissions will be accepted online only by emailing to [email protected]. Submissions can include up to three artwork images as jpeg attachments. Please include artist name, contact information, home town and country, and art work description (title, medium, year made, dimensions,). Original art work ONLY. Artists can be based anywhere in the world. The Call for Art is NOT restricted to artists working in The Hamptons.

Artists are encouraged to submit a short description of their work, their process, and a link to their website. Up to three artworks can be submitted. The theme makes note of the importance of the earth and its influence in art. Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme as they wish with connections through composition, material, theme, inspiration or subject. A juried online exhibition of selected art works will be featured online at HamptonsArtHub.com.
