The Hamptons and East End benefit season is winding down but a handful of benefits still remain for enjoyment in September on the East End. Following is our list of benefits to know in The Hamptons in the upcoming weeks of September.

September 1, 2016 (Thursday)

Southampton Art Center’s Third Annual SummerFest

The Southampton Art Center’s “Third Annual SummerFest” will take place on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 6 p.m.

The event will celebrate the 2016 Season and the Southampton Art Center’s programming partners. This food and wine fest will include tastings from East End restaurants, plus music and dancing to DJ Karin Ward. On view in the gallery is “Winning the White House: From Press Prints to Selfies,” presented by International Center of Photography. This year’s benefit honors Renee Harbers Liddell with the 2016 Champion of the Arts Award.

September 3, 2016 (Saturday)

Perfect Earth Project's Third Annual "PRFECT! Biennial Benefits"

Perfect Earth Project's Third Annual "PRFECT! Biennial Benefits" takes place on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at artist Cindy Sherman's home in Springs from 3 to 7 p.m. A family-friendly picnic with organic food, cocktails and concerts features Isaac Mizrahi as Master of Ceremonies with Debbie Harry and Chris Stein of Blondie. The event features live performances by Rufus Wainwright, Teddy Thompson, Jenni Muldaur and Suzanne Vega. Tickets are $1,000 for adults, $100 for children; $500 for Young Supporters (21 to 30 years old) and $2,500 for a family ticket. The event benefits Perfect Earth Project which promotes toxin-free land management around the world. The non-profit is based in East Hampton, N.Y.

September 10, 2016 (Saturday)

BHCCRC: Howard University Gospel Choir

The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center will present the Howard University Gospel Choir on Saturday, September 10, 2016.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 3 p.m. The event will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons in Southampton and honors the heroes of 9/11 with the children of the Bridgehampton Child Care Center presenting a special tribute. A reception and silent auction will be held before the concert at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $75. The event benefits The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center.

Tickets for the benefit concert are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. The Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons is located at 111 St Andrews Rd, Southampton, NY 11968. www.bhccrc.org.

September 17, 2016 (Saturday)

Late Summer Cocktail Party

Southampton Historical Museum’s “Late Summer Cocktail Party” will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016.

Celebrate the end of summer with hors d’oeuvres by Schmidt’s Market and cocktails on the lawn of the 1843 Rogers Mansion. The Late Party Cocktail Party supports the museum's education programs.
