“A SENSE OF PLACE” will feature an eclectic group of local artists drawing inspiration from their experiences and interpretations of the concept of place. Curated by Mary Laspia, the exhibit brings together a diverse collection of work expressed through paints, pastel, mixed media, photography and clay.
"A SENSE OF PLACE" opens on Friday, March 18, 2016 and continues through Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Ashawagh Hall in East Hampton, N.Y. Gallery hours are March 18 (11 am-4 pm), March 19 (9 am-8 pm), March 20 (10 am-4 pm).
OPENING RECEPTION: SATURDAY, March 19, 2016 from 5 - 8 pm.

The group show will present abstract, figurative and impressionistic work by Kirsten Benfield, Christopher Butler, Judy Clifford, Mary Daunt, Ellen Dooley, Anne Holton, Sarah Jaffe Turnbull, Joan Kraisky, Mary Laspia, Pingree Louchheim, Stephanie Reit, Nancy Robbins, Jerry Schwabe, Tom Steele, Lieve Thiers, Richard Udice, and Lisa Weston.
Abstract and mixed media works will be exhibited by such notables as Sarah Jaffe Turnbull, Ellen Dooley and Judy Clifford.
