1. “You’ve been Trumped” Documentary Screening

“You’ve been Trumped” screens at the Floyd Memorial Library in Greenport on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at 6 p.m. as part of the library's winter film festival. Yes, it's that Trump as captured by director and writer Anthony Baxter. In this 2011 film, Scottish landowners go head-to-head with billionaire Donald Trump to prevent construction of a golf resort on an environmentally sensitive stretch of coastline.

2. Farm Tour of the East End Mushroom Company

The East End Mushroom Company hosts a tour of the facility and a talk on growing mushrooms on Friday, February 5, 2016, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Visitors are invited to learn about the Shiitake, Oyster, Maitake and other varieties of mushrooms grown at the farm.

3. "Wine 201: Varietals of Bordeaux" Class

“Wine 201: Varietals of Bordeaux” takes place on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Martha Clara Vineyards. The class is taught by Winemaker Juan E. Micieli-Martinez. Participants will learn about each varietal, its origin, and how it grows on Long Island. Each person will taste several vintages of each wine with an explanation of how it was made. Light pairings are included with each flight.

4. “Love & Passion” Exhibition Opening

The 11th annual “Love & Passion” has an Opening Reception on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at The White Room Gallery. The group exhibition is curated by Karyn Mannix and Andrea McCafferty. The jured show is set to the theme "Peace, Love and Understanding". Expect to find a trove of artists working on the East End including Stephanie Brody-Lederman, Charles Waller, Jeff Muhs, David Slater, Barbara Bilotta, Sally Breen, Peter Spacek and more.

5. “National Theatre Live: A Screening Jane Eyre” at Guild Hall

“National Theatre Live: Jane Eyre” screens on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Guild Hall. Sally Cookson directs the production, a re-imagining of Brontë's novel.

6. East End Music Film Series Screens Films by D.A. Pennebaker

The East End Music Film Series continues with films by and a discussion with filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker on Sunday, February 7, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Bay Street Theater. The film event is part of The East End Music Film series which continues on Sundays at 2 p.m.

7. Almond’s Artist & Writer’s Night

The latest installment of Artist & Writer’s Night takes place on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Almond's restaurant in Bridgehampton. The evening is hosted by DJ Carlos Lama. This installment of the Artist & Writer's Night is a mashup of an open mic night and adult talent show where poets, musicians and other creatives are invited to step up and perform. The event includes a three course family style meal and one glass of wine or beer. Inquire directly with the restaurant for performance sign up.
