East End Arts geared up for its 2016 Gala with an ARTworks Gala Kickoff Party held at Hotel Indigo East End in Riverhead on October 29, 2015. The event celebrated the fundraiser for the arts non-profit and celebrated the efforts of the organizers and supporters that will make the fundraiser possible.
ARTworks Gala Kickoff Party drew friends and supporters of East End Arts along with the ARTworks Gala Committee and special guest Bob Isaksen, Long Island President, Bank of America. East End Arts ARTworks Spring Gala 2016 honors Bank of America. ARTworks Spring Gala will be held in May 2016 at East Wind in Wading River.
ARTworks Gala 2016 Committee Members are Lorraine Aycock (co-chair), Robert Ward (co-chair), Jonathan Berdinka, Cia Comnas, Jim Lennon, Katherine Liepe-Levinson, Eileen McGuire, Melinda Novak, Kristen Reyes, Rob Salvatico, Tom Sullivan, Mario Ticas.
Guests enjoyed cocktails, local bites and live entertainment at Hotel Indigo's elegant fireside patio on the beautiful October evening. Special performances were held by East End Arts School alum vocalist Sheree Elder accompanied by Arthur Pitts. Announced at the Kickoff Party was the news that Grammy-winning composer, producer, arranger, and guitarist Nile Rodgers will serve as the honorary chair of the May 2016 fundraising event.

ARTworks Spring Gala 2016 will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at East Wind in Wading River, N.Y. The evening will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres; dinner and dancing; live and silent auctions. Nile Rodgers, Grammy-winning composer, producer, arranger, guitarist, and co-founder/chairman of We Are Family Foundation, will serve as the honorary chair of the event.
Proceeds from East End Arts ARTworks Spring Gala help provide art and music lesson scholarships to area children and support East End Arts mission to build and enrich our community through the arts by way of education, support, advocacy, and inspiration.
