Officially starting in 1967, the Invitational began informally in 1958 as “Art On The Wall” at Ashawagh Hall, an event that usually coincided with the annual Fishermans’ Fair on the Ashawagh Hall Green. Over the years, the show has grown from a handful of local artists into the current exhibit that includes artwork from over 125 artists. Invitations to participate as an artist are highly coveted and this year’s show demonstrates the depth of talent has always been associated with the Springs community.

With over 15 years of experience curating shows, Andrea has brought together a mix of artists working in a wide range of disciplines for this historical exhibition. Artists in this years show include Elaine Grove, Paton Miller, Savio Mizzi, Jim Gingerich, Barbara Groot, Ellyn Dooley and Eric Ernst to name a few. Fifty percent of sales will be given to the Springs Improvement Society’s Scholarship Fund, a fund that benefits East Hampton high school graduates from Springs who are going on to college.
