Jazz and classical music concerts combine with exhibition receptions, artists in conversations, film screenings and author readings to make a rich weekend in the Hamptons for art and culture. Following is the full list of options to plan your art weekend on the East End.

BRIDGEHAMPTON

BRIDGEHAMPTON MUSEUM and ART OF SONG - "Parlor Jazz Concert: Journeys" takes place on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The concert features Darcey on vocals, Morris Goldberg on saxophone and clarinet, Jane Hastay on piano and Peter Martin Weiss on bass. MARK BORGHI FINE ART - "Jules Feiffer: Dancers!" has an opening reception on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. Curated by Julie Keyes, the show features gestural dancer drawings and prints. EAST HAMPTON/SPRINGS

HARPER’S BOOKS - “Matthew King: This Side Down” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through June 2. The exhibition is Matthew King’s first solo show. A series of stripe paintings on propped Oriented Strand Board and a series of photographs adhered to painted aluminum panels will be on view. THE DRAWING ROOM - “Conversations with Vincent Longo and Elaine Grove” take place on Saturday at 4 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. The conversations will be led by Janet Goleas. GREENPORT   

PECONIC LANDING - “Captured Live in HD: Of Mice & Men” takes place on Sunday at 3 p.m. Admission is $20. The John Steinbeck play is filmed on stage by National Theater Live. SOUTHOLD HISTORICAL SOCIETY at the SOUND VIEW RESTAURANT - “The April Showers Dinner” takes place today from noon to 8 p.m.. A choice of Roast Chicken, Fish, or Vegetarian Entrée will be available, and a cash raffle will take place during the event. MONTAUK

MONTAUK LIBRARY - “Spring Classical Concert Series: Jonathan Howe, Classical Pianist” takes place on Sunday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The concert is free. Jonathan Howe will perform a concert of works composed for the piano by Bach, Chopin, Villa-Lobos and Prokoviev as well as a recent piece by contemporary American composer, Hubert S. Howe. RIVERHEAD

SUFFOLK COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY - “From Shore to Shore: Boatbuilders and Boatyards of Long Island” has an Opening Reception on Saturday at 5 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through September 19. The exhibition features traditional and modern-day boatbuilders living on Long Island. Also on view will be a Maritime Painting Exhibition curated by the J. Russell Jinishian Gallery. SAG HARBOR

CANIO'S BOOKS - "Novelist Sande Boritz Berger reads from The Sweetness" on Saturday at 5 p.m. The reading is presented in commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day (April 16). Canio's Books is located at 290 Main Street, Sag Harbor, NY 11963. www.caniosbooks.com.

HAMPTONS TAKE 2 DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL at BAY STREET THEATER - “IRIS” screens on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The documentary is by and in honor of Albert Maysles. A remembrance conversation follows the screening, moderated by documentary filmmaker Susan Lacy as well as D A Pennebaker & Chris Hegedus, Susan Froemker, and Rebekah Maysles & Laura Coxson.

SOUTHAMPTON CULTURAL CENTER - “Audacity of Abstraction” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. Artists on view include Shari Abramson,  Gerson Leiber, Roy Nicholson, Dan Welden and Dennis Leri. WATER MILL

PARRISH ART MUSEUM - “Spring 2015 Salon Series: Violinist Tim Fain” takes place on Friday at 6 p.m. This is the first concert of this season’s Salon Series. Concerts will take place on four consecutive Fridays at 6 p.m. Admission is $20, $10 for Parrish Members.

“Jules Feiffer Book Signing” takes place on Saturday at 11 a.m. Feiffer will speak with Parrish Art Museum Director Terrie Sultan about his new graphic novel, Kill My Mother, and his work on view at the museum. “Jules Feiffer: Kill My Mother” remains on view through April 26.

“Guided Tour of the Permanent Collection” takes place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The docent-led tour features highlights from the seven permanent collection galleries. Free with museum admission. Reservations suggested.

SARA NIGHTINGALE GALLERY - “Conditional/Return” featuring Zev Jonas and Simone Douglas has an Opening Reception on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through May 18. Zev Jonas will show photographs examining the solitude one can feel in nature. Simone Douglas will show nautical sculpture suggesting a merging with the land.
