Exhibition receptions celebrate new art shows opening on the North and South Forks this weekend. THE CLAY ART GUILD at the BRIDGEHAMPTON MUSEUM ARCHIVES - “Autumn Potters Market” takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the grounds of the Bridgehampton Museum Archives. ALEX FERRONE PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY - “The Still Life” by Harold Naideau and Steven Schreiber has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through Nov. 23 and presents still life photography. Throughout the exhibition, the gallery will collect new household products for families in need through the North Fork Parish Outreach. GUILD HALL - “Operatifs: Mozart’s ‘Le Nozze Di Figaro’” takes place on Saturday from 12 to 12:30 p.m. Operatifs are half-hour pre-opera lectures led by Victoria Bond. Admission is $30. 

“Mozart’s ‘Le Nozze Di Figaro’” takes place on Saturday at 1 p.m. This new production of Mozart’s piece is set in the late 1920’s. Admission is $22, $20 for members, and $15 for students.

ST. LUKE’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, HOIE HALL - “Maureen’s Haven 3rd Annual Auction” takes place on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. All proceeds benefit Maureen’s Haven, an organization providing shelter, food, clothing, and more to the homeless on the East End. ROMANY KRAMORIS GALLERY - “Joan Tripp and Lutha Leahy-Miller” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through Nov. 17. Tripp will show paintings along the themes of space, galaxies, planets, and more. Leahy-Miller will present works inspired by the speed and motion of surfing. SAG HARBOR CINEMA - "Art & Craft" screens on Sunday at 4 p.m. The film is an exploration of artist and art forger Mark Landis, who donated his fake works to museums across the country.

"20,000 Days on Earth" screens on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at 8 p.m. The film centers around a fictitious 24 hours in the life of musician and cultural icon, Nick Cave in order to uncover the importance of the creative process.

"Advanced Style" screens on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday at 8 p.m. The documentary explores the lives of fashionable women over 60 in New York City.

SOUTHAMPTON

“10th Annual Birdhouse Auction” takes place on Saturday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Southampton Social Club. Around 100 artists have created birdhouses for the event. The auction benefits Lucia’s Angels. Tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door. The Southampton Social Club is located at 256 Elm Street, Southampton, NY 11968. WATER MILL

PARRISH ART MUSEUM - “Salon Series: Performance by William Hobbs” takes place on Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. The concert will include “Night Music Op. 109 (2009)” by composer Lowell Liebermann, who will be in attendance. Guest artists Claire Temin Bird on the flute and Anna Temin Meisel on the clarinet will perform the work with Hobbs. Admission is $20, $10 for Parrish Members. 

“Guided Tour of the Permanent Collection” takes place on Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. The Tour is free with museum admission.
