Labor Day Weekend signals the end of summer and the transition to the fall season following shortly after. Labor Day Weekend can also bring the final days of exhibitions and cultural events. Following is our Short List of exhibitions that are here this weekend but not for much longer.

 1. Bay Street Theater's Mainstage Season: "My Life is a Musical". Closes August 31.

The musical centers on a man who wakes up and discovers his life is now a musical. Tough luck for someone who hates them! The side-splitting show premieres at Bay Street Theater.

2. “Bobbie Braun, Anna Franklin, and Diane Marxe” and Artist Member Show at Crazy Monkey. Closes August 31.

The Crazy Monkey Gallery in Amagansett presents changing art exhibitions by artist members of the cooperative gallery. If you're interested in seeing the art members have to offer, this may be a great time to see it. It's possible that changes are on the horizon. For certain, it's the final weekend to see Anna Franklin's work at the gallery. Inspired by childhood memories in Italy and combined with imaginavite muses, Franklin reveals scenes populated by fishes, corals and more.
