The arrival of Art Market Hamptons and Art Hamptons take center stage on the Hamptons art scene this week. Both shows open tonight in Bridgehampton. Benefit galas for the Parrish Art Museum and Bay Street Theatre take place on Saturday so there's plenty of fun to be had. In addition, there are gallery openings, author readings, artist talks and more in the Hamptons and on the North Fork this weekend. ART HAMPTONS opens tonight (Thursday) at Nova's Ark Project. ART MARKET HAMPTONS opens tonight on the grounds of the Bridgehampton Historical Society. The Benefit Preview Reception takes place from 6 to 7 p.m. (funds are being raised for LongHouse Reserve) and the VIP Party takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. The fair continues through Sunday. A sunset cruise on Shinnecock Bay will take place at 7 p.m. Proceeds will go towards building clam sanctuaries to enhance clam reproductive output, increase water quality, and help control algae blooms.
