POLLOCK-KRASNER HOUSE AND STUDY CENTER - “Unmasking the Muse: Inspiration in the Arts” Panel takes place on Saturday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The discussion will be moderated by film historian and art critic Marion Wolberg Weiss and will center around the topic of artistic inspiration. The panel will include performance artist, composer, and musician Laurie Anderson, artist Andrea Cote, and producer, director, camera operator, and film/video editor Maria Maciak. GREENPORT   

SOUTHOLD HISTORICAL SOCIETY and PECONIC LANDING – Film Screening of “Ilya and Emilia Kabakov: Enter Here” takes place on Friday at 7:30 p.m. After the screening, there will be a Q&A with director Amei Wallach.

The film concerns artist Ilya Kabakov’s struggle to install 6 installations throughout Moscow, where he was forbidden to show his work. Both Ilya and his wife Emilia live on the North Fork. THE FIREPLACE PROJECT at the SURF LODGE - “EXSanguiNatio_n” by Michael Bevilacqua has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through July 13. Bevilacqua works in spray paint, working to bring the medium beyond the world of graffiti and into that of fine art. SAGAPONACK 

THE MADOO CONSERVANCY - “Much Ado About Madoo” takes place from Friday through Sunday. The Garden Cocktail Party and Garden Market Preview Sale takes place on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets start at $125. Includes an exhibition of Robert Dash’s artwork chosen by Robert Storr. There will also be a live auction including custom designed gardens and a silent auction of birdhouses and garden and home accessories along with various garden presentations and a birdhouse competition. RSVP is appreciated but tickets are available at the door.

WATER MILL

WATERMILL CENTER - "OPEN STUDIO - Works by Mohammed Kazem and Maya Chami" will be held on Saturday form 1 to 4 p.m. Kazem created around 70 works on paper by scratching shapes to render sound visible using objects from the Watermill Center Collection. Chami presents three looping audio-visual works: Of Men, Champagne and Victory Aside (2012), Transitional digital objects (2011) and a new work, Jasmine - Tree: Copy Cat, inspired by The Watermill Center cat. The Watermill Center is located at 39 Watermill Towd Road, Water Mill, NY www.watermillcenter.org
