Amagansett is happening on Saturday night with two new groups shows holding opening exhibitions. In nearby Springs, the Artist Alliance of East Hamptons holds its first members show of the year. New shows also open in Greenport and Riverhead. Here's where to find what's happening on the East End:

AMAGANSETT

ILLE ARTS - "Working the Line" has an opening reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Exhibiting artists are Denise Gale, Claire Watson, Christa Maiwald, Michael Chandler and Janet Goleas. The show was curated by Maiwald and Gale. The show remains on view through April 11. Ille Arts is located at 216 Main St, Amagansett, NY 11930. www.illearts.com

NEOTERIC FINE ART – “A Varied Form ” opens Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. Exhibiting artists are Breahna Arnold, Nicholas Weber, Molly Weiss, Ivan Kustura and Anita Kusick. The opening includes live drawing with Dori Elliot posing, live music and food. The exhibition is co-presented by Arnold and Neoteric Fine Art. The show continues through March 23. The gallery is located at 208 Main Street, Amagansett, NY 11930. www.neotericfineart.com

EAST HAMPTON/SPRINGS

ASHAWAGH HALL – “The Artists Alliance of East Hampton's Spring Art Exhibition" opens today and continues through Sunday at Ashawagh Hall. An Opening Reception will be held on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. Over 30 member artists will present a single artwork. Ashawagh Hall is located at 780 Springs Fireplace Rd, Springs, NY 11937.  www.ashawagh-hall.org.

GUILD HALL - “21st Annual Student Art Festival, Part II: Grades 9-12” opens on Saturday. The show features the work of over 5,000 students from Amagansett, East Hampton, Montauk, Wainscott, Southampton, Bridgehampton, Shelter Island, and Sagaponack  school districts. The exhibition remains on view through April 14. The museum is located at 158 Main Street  East Hampton, NY 11937. www.guildhall.org

GREENPORT

GREENPORT HARBOR BREWING COMPANY - “Moby” has an artist reception on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. The exhibition celebrates Greenport’s heritage when it was a whaling port from 1795 - 1859. The show remains on view through May. The gallery is located at 234 Carpenter street, Greenport, NY 11944. www.harborbrewing.com.

RIVERHEAD

LYCEUM GALLERY - “Biosynthesis: Sculptures by Christopher Hart Chambers” opened on March 1 and has an opening reception on March 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through March 29. The gallery is located at the Suffolk County Community College, Eastern Campus, 121 Speonk-Riverhead Road, Riverhead, NY 11901.

SOUTHAMPTON

ROGERS MEMORIAL LIBRARY’S Madelle Hegeler Semerjian Gallery – “East End Photographers Group General Meeting” takes place on Sunday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be held on the lower level of the library at 91 Coopers Farm Rd, Southampton, NY 11968. WATER MILL

PARRISH ART MUSEUM “PechaKucha Hamptons Night Vol. 3” takes place tonight at 6 p.m. The evening features 10 creative East Enders making rapid-fire audio-visual presentations. Presenting are Arjun Achuthan, culinary arts educator; Roisin Bateman, artist; Scott Bluedorn, artist/gallerist; Carter Burwell, composer; Darlene Charneco, artist; Eliza Gatfield, designer; Anthony Holbrooke, artist; Ty Kotz, chef; Michael Verde, millworker; and Dawn Watson, newspaper editor.
