It's here--Labor Day Weekend. The forecast calls for sunny skies, summer revelry and plenty of art. Here's what's new on the Hamptons Art Scene:

AMAGANSETT 

CRAZY MONKEY GALLERY - “Barbara Bilotta” and a “Group show by members of the Artist Cooperative” has an opening reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. The show runs through Sept 29. The gallery is located at 136 Main Street, Amagansett, NY. www.thecrazymonkeygallery.com

NEOTERIC FINE ART - "Inner Lense" has an opening reception on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The group show features photography by Mia Berg, Daniel Cabrera, Josh Cohen, Maggie Harrsen, Hailey Kohlus, Yaan Pessino, Kate Petrone and Ingrid Silva. BRIDGEHAMPTON

EAST HAMPTON/SPRINGS 

ASHAWAGH HALL - “Body of Work VIII” has an opening reception on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. The show features the work of 10 figurative artists: Rosalind Brenner, Linda Capello, Ellen Dooley, Michael Cardacino, Tina Folks, Gordon Gagliano, Anthony Lombardo, Michael McDowell, Frank Sofo, and Margaret Weissbach. GLENN HOROWITZ BOOKSELLER - “rocknrollshrink by Peter Dayton- Record Release” and “Andy Warhol: Album Covers - Exhibition Preview” takes place on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. “Andy Warhol: Album Covers” runs through Sep 24. JOHN DREW THEATER AT GUILD HALL - Staged Reading of The Painted Plays -takes place on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Dina Merrill Pavilion. Tickets are $125 to $48. Produced in association with Patricia Watt. The short plays featuring Hamptons artists were each penned by a different playwright. Featured artists include John Alexander, Eric Fischl, April Gornik, Eric Dever, Clifford Ross and Jane Wilson. Music by Billy Joel. For details, visit www.guildhall.org. GUILD HALL - FINAL WEEKEND - “Strong-Cuevas: Premonitions in Retrospect” closes on Sept 3. The outdoor sculpture exhibition in located in the Frieda and Roy Furman Sculpture Garden. EAST HAMPTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY - Curator Talk - “The Long Island Express: Rare Photographs of East Hampton After the 1938 Hurricane.”

Richard Barons, the director of the East Hampton Historical Society, will discuss the historic photography show of images found locally on Saturday at 10 a.m. The historic photography show is open weekends at the Clinton Academy through Oct 6. REMSENBURG

THE REMSENBURG ACADEMY – “99 Embraces” by Gina Gilmour and Eberle Damron and improvisional concert culminated on Sunday. The exhibition includes linoleum prints, drawings and works with fabric. Improvisational concerts by The Hidden City Orchestra will be held on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The music will interpret the art in the exhibition. Admission is free. The Remsenburg Academy is located at 130 South Country Road, Remsenburg, NY.

RIVERHEAD

EAST END ARTS - “JOY” has an opening reception tonight (Friday) from 5 to 7 p.m. Guest jurors include Peter J. Marcelle and Bruce Helander. Best in Show was awarded to Elizabeth Malonuwicz, First Place to Anne Seelbach, Second Place to Neva Setlow, and Third Place to RJT Hayes. The show runs through Oct 5. SAG HARBOR

MONIKA OLKO GALLERY - “Solo show by Lynn Matsuoka” has an opening reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition will feature Matsuoka's Equestrian paintings and drawings. PARRISH ART MUSEUM - FINAL WEEKEND - The museum closes its doors and the final exhibitions in Southampton on Tuesday. WATERMILL

WATER MILL MUSEUM - “LENS CHISEL BRUSH” has an artist reception on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. Anthony Lombardo will exhibit photography, John Phillip Capello exhibits stone sculpture and Lucille Berrill Paulsen presents oil paintings. The show runs through Sept 19. Also on view is "TWO LABORATORIES CONVERGE," a photo and text exhibition regarding the history of Robert Wilson's Watermill Center.
