A compelling exhibition of art by contemporary female artists is opening tonight at Gallery North. "The Work of Women" presents art that stays away from clichés about what's women's work and what's not. Instead, the theme is developed by featuring art made by women.

An artist reception is being held tonight (Mar 9) from 5 to 7 p.m. An artists talk will take place on Sunday (Mar 11) from 3 to 5 p.m. "ArTalk: Women in the Arts" will be presented by Elizabeth Kahn Kaplan and the exhibiting artists. Reservations are required.
